I remember sitting in pharmacology class learning about how some herbs will interfere with certain medications – my friend turned to me and asked “Why aren’t we learning about trying supplements before the medication that has all of the side effects?” At that moment, the wheels started turning; Why aren’t we taught about nutrition and preventative lifestyle measures before medications? Why are there so many health foods out there but more autoimmune disease and infertility than ever before? While conventional medicine has a time and a place, it shouldn’t be our first line of defense.

From then on, I started seeing everything more clearly, and I went from full-time nursing student to full-time nursing student and part-time functional medicine learner. I enrolled in an Integrative Nutrition Coaching program and began soaking up as much knowledge as possible; attending health events, reading books and using eager friends and family as guinea pigs for everything I was learning.

After nursing school, I started work at an Integrative Health clinic where time and time again, I saw patients that didn’t need a prescription, but that needed help getting back to the basics of health and identifying their individual needs that caused a gap from where they were at to reaching their ideal health.

Throughout my experience, my most profound takeaway is that each day, we make countless decisions, and though they may seem small, they hold the potential to steer us towards either thriving or suffering. It's here where I come in to offer guidance. I'll help you pinpoint which decisions need to shift in order to have a positive impact on your long-term health.

So, let's embark on this transformative journey together and discover the magic that lies within the little decisions you make each day, propelling you towards a life of more energy and joy!
